 Greetings,  have  been  upgrading  my  2.0.5  install  and  desire  to  use  graphicadmin  function  with  your  account.  But,  YA  is  different  from  other  administrative  modules  in  that  administrative  rights  are  granted  from  within  the  module  and  not  redirected  to  admin.  Code  samples  below...

 This  is  from  modules/Your_Account/admin.php  near  line  66

PHP:
switch($op) {

    default:

$pagetitle ": "._USERADMIN;
        include_once(
NUKE_BASE_DIR.'header.php');

OpenTable();
        echo
"<div>n<a>" _USER_ADMIN_HEADER "</a></div>n";
        echo
"<br><br>";
        echo
"<div>n[ <a>" _USER_RETURNMAIN "</a> ]</div>n";

CloseTable();
        echo
"<br>";

title(_USERADMIN);

amain();
        include_once(
NUKE_BASE_DIR.'footer.php');
    break;

 Now  other  admin  modules  will  accept  the  graphicadmin  replacement  just  fine...but  not  YA

PHP:
switch($op) {

    default:

$pagetitle ": "._USERADMIN;
        include_once(
NUKE_BASE_DIR.'header.php');

GraphicAdmin();

amain();
        include_once(
NUKE_BASE_DIR.'footer.php');
    break;

 Page  will  load,  but  no  footer.  Loading  admin/functions.php  will  get  me  as  far  as  the  header  but  will  then  display  illegal  file  access.  Is  there  a  way  to  force  the  issue?  Grant  admin  rights  for  the  YA  path?  Thanks  in  advance,  any  help  would  be  apperciated...

 When  inserting  GraphicAdmin();  in  place  of  header  admin,  that  will  occur.  I  get  a  blank  nuke  page  with  no  footer.  If  I  include  admin/functions.php,  same  result.  For  experimentation,  inserted  GraphicAdmin  function  to  Your_Account  functions.php  and  then  received  illegal  file  access.  So,  it  appears  that  anything  linking  or  connecting  to  nuke  admin  operations  from  YA  -  is  not  allowed.

 I  always  have  liked  old-style  graphical  admin  GUI,  and  have  added  GraphicAdmin  to  all  but  Your_Account  (for  the  above  reason).  Thanks  for  your  speedy  reply   :)

 I  am  confused  as  to  why  you  want  to  use  GraphicAdmin()  in  the  site  anyway.  It  just  ads  the  admin  icons  above  the  admin  page  your  in  which  just  pushes  the  admin  panel  your  working  in  down.  Which  is  why  most  newer  modules  don't  use  it.  It  was  annoying  and  loaded  slower.  You  have  to  load  the  admin  panel  and  your  current  admin  page  under  it  every  time  you  change  pages  in  the  admin.

 In  any  case,  I  can  look  into  getting  it  to  work.  There  isn't  really  a  reason  it  wouldn't.  I  know  your  using  Nuke  Evolution  2.0.5  for  your  project  so  I  don't  know  if  what  i  will  do  is  going  to  help  you.  But,  I  will  see  about  getting  it  to  work  in  2.0.7  which  should  be  pretty  much  the  same.

 For  me  personally,  it  is  a  visceral  thing  Smile  Besides,  under  graphic  options  it  can  be  changed  to  links  only.  Thanks  in  advance,  this  one  has  me  completely  stumped  Crying or Very sad  and  any  assistance  is  SO  appreciated.  So  much  so,  that  if  we  can  figure  this  one  out  -  I  will  make  a  donation  to  your  cause  Exclamation

 Well,  the  reason  it  doesn't  work  is  simple.  When  your  in  the  admin  for  the  Your  Account  module  your  not  in  the  sites  admin  panel  at  all.  It  has  it's  own  admin  separate  from  evo's  admin.  I  only  see  2  options  at  this  time.  1.  build  a  function  that  creates  a  copy  (so  to  speak)  of  the  standard  admin  panel  and  include  it  in  the  Your  Account  admin.  2.  Recode  the  Your  Account  module  so  it  is  actually  in  the  evo  admin  panel  and  not  on  its  own.

 Here  is  the  link  for  the  admin  panel  in  the  Your_Account  module..

 modules.php?name=Your_Account&file=admin  (notice  modules.php?name)

 Here  is  the  standard  link  for  all  the  other  modules  admin  panels.

 admin.php?op=yourmodadminpage  (notice  admin.php?op)

 The  GraphicAdmin  function  only  works  if  admin.php?op=  is  present  and  your  in  the  actual  evo  admin  area.

 Hope  this  at  least  clears  up  where  the  issue  is  coming  from  and  why  it  isn't  working.  Now  to  just  figure  out  how  important  this  feature  really  is  and  if  you  want  to  spend  the  time  building  it  in  or  not.  My  best  guess  is  that  you  get  access  denied  errors  becuase  your  trying  to  pull  the  admin  panel  into  a  module.

 That  is  exactly  what  I  thought,  and  you  expressed  it  rather  well  Smile  Okay,  for  now  -  I  will  exercise  option  one.  Option  two  is  something  I  am  considering,  for  this  and  other  reasons  (mostly  to  do  with  consolidation).  I  did  attempt  to  copy  the  function  to  YA,  but  still  received  illegal  access  warning(s).  My  thought  is  that  links  still  operate  within  nuke  admin,  thus  denying  access.  Too  bad  there  was  not  a  way  to  simply  transfer  rights.  Any  thoughts?  Maybe  help  me  locate  all  the  elements  that  comprise  GraphicAdmin.  Thanks  again,  my  friend  Exclamation

 Do  a  search  for  the  GraphicAdmin  in  admin/functions.php  file.  It  has  everything  you  need  really.  Well,  it  makes  up  the  admin  page  layout.  So,  in  reality,  you  don't  need  to  re-create  GraphicAdmin  or  even  use  it.  Just  make  your  own  function  using  all  those  elements  and  call  something  else.
