Sorry to be a thorn here. The groups permissions is driving me nuts.

GROUP colors
1. I went into Group Admin > Management and created a new group. It is a closed group with myself as moderator.

2. Then I went into AUC > Configuration and made a new color group and added a color.

3. Then I went into AUC > Management and added the member I wanted to that group to get the color showing correctly.

GROUP permissons
1. First I went into Forum Admin > Overall permissions and added yellow squares to the "view and read" forums I want to keep private.

2. I went into Group Admin > Permissions and clicked the group I wanted to add permissions to. Then I allowed permissions to the forum.

3. then i went into the CZUser info and added each user to that group.

Problem is. They cant see the "allowed access" forum.

Can someone help.?

NVM!!! I figured it out!!
STEP 4. Forum Index > Usergroups > "choose group" > "Add Member" DOH!!!

nice tutorial there killigan. You have me questioning my .htaccess folders. I never renamed them. what do they do and what troubles does it cause by not renaming them?
