 Taken  directly  from  my  post  on  ClanThemes:

WARNING!!!  Long  Post!

 This  is  a  long  post  but  answers  the  questions  I  been  asked  about  over  and  over  and  over  again,  and  finally  made  the  post  here,  now.

   Well,  over  the  past  week+,  I  been  doing  some  changes  to  my  site,  and  some  people  have  seen  my  block  on  the  right  side  of  my  site  where  they  can  click  on  the  connect  button  and  this  little  pop-up  window  comes  up  with  some  login  fields  where  all  they  have  to  do  is  put  in  a  name  and  click  the  connect  button  and  they  join  right  onto  my  TS3  server.   Well,  creating  that  login  area  was  not  hard,  I  just  stripped  the  code  from  TSviewer  and  put  that  onto  a  .html  document  and  put  it  on  my  site,  then  I  used  the  lytebox  effect  to  open  it  in  a  new  window.  Well,  Evo  Xtreme  already  has  Lytebox  installed,  but  it  is  an  older  version  and  I  could  not  find  any  of  the  latest  documentation  on  it,  so  what  i  did  was  I  updated  my  site  to  the  latest  version.  It  was  fairly  easy  to  do,  though  you  can't  just  grab  the  files  from  the  lytebox  site  and  install  it  fo  it  wont  work.  There  has  to  be  some  changes  to  the  .css  file  for  it  to  work  on  your  site.  I  have  attached  the  latest  version  that  you  can  upload  to  your  site,  to  this  post.

 For  learning  some  things  you  can  use  lytebox  on  your  site  for,  go  here  and  look  over  their  documentation  that  will  show  you  some  example  on  how  they  did  it.
 http://lytebox.com/howTo.php

 For  example,  lets  say  I  named  that  file  for  my  TS3  connect  as  TS3Connect.htm,  and  in  my  block  on  my  site  I  wanted  to  have  a  button  that  would  open  up  that  .htm  file  into  a  IFrame  of  sorts  but  using  the  lytebox  effect,  then  I  would  do  this,

Code:
<a  href="TS3Connect.htm"  class="lytebox"   data-lyte-options="width:200  height:250  scrollbars:no"  data-title="Connect  to  our  TS3"><img  src="./images/connect.jpg"  width="140"></a>

 Well  looking  at  that,  you  can  see  that  the  link  points  it  to  a  html  document  to  open  to,  but  now  instead  of  using  rel  to  call  upon  the  lytebox  effect,  its  having  you  use  class.  Does  this  mean  that  all  the  scripts  on  your  site  that  uses  the  rel="lytebox"  will  no  longer  work.  Absolutely  not,  it  still  will  all  work,  but  they  made  it  now  primarily  use  class  instead  of  rel.

 Also,  you  can  see  that  I  used  an  image  for  the  button  instead  of  text,  with  the  <img  src="./images/connect.jpg"  width="140">  so  when  people  click  on  that,  it  will  open  they  lytebox  effect  rather  than  just  plain  text  being  there.  If  you're  using  my  latest  downloads  module,  you  will  also  need  to  update  one  file  which  will  be  included  in  a  extra's  folder  in  the  attachment.

 To  install  this  is  easy.  Upload  the  files  keeping  the  folder  structure  that  I  packed  it.  You  can  just  overwrite  what  is  on  your  site  or  you  can  do  what  I  did  and  delete  the  files  from  my  site  and  use  all  fresh  new  files.  The  folder  that  you  would  want  to  delete  is  called  lytebox  found  in  your  public_html/includes/  folder.But  this  is  not  needed.

 Done  downfall  with  using  the  lytebox  effect  is  that  you  really  need  to  allow  your  site  to  fully  load  before  someone  can  click  on  it,  if  your  site  has  not  fully  loaded,  then  the  effect  does  not  work.  But  that  is  normally  not  noticed  unless  you  have  a  lot  of  flash  and  images  to  slow  down  your  site.

 Here  is  one  last  tip,  and  this  is  really  helpful  for  both  RN  and  Evo  users,  this  is  a  fix  that  I  recommend  everyone  using  if  you  get  annoyed  like  I  do  with  images  stretching  the  forums.  I  personally  HATE  going  to  sites  where  you  go  into  a  post  and  you  see  you  need  to  drag  it  left  and  right  because  some  knucklehead  put  a  picture  on  your  site  that  is  like  1980  px  wide  and  if  your  site  is  a  fixed  width  like  this  site  here,  it  stretches  the  forums.  Well,  there  is  something  you  can  do  about  that.

 I  know  Evo  has  a  built-in  image  resize  mod,  but  to  be  honest,  it's  a  POS.  What  I  did  was  I  changed  up  my  image  setting  on  my  site  so  if  anyone  uses  the

Code:
[img]   URL  to  IMAGE  [/img]
 on  my  forums,  even  for  their  signatures,  I  put  in  a  size  limit  on  it  and  the  image  when  clicked  will  use  the  lytebox  effect  to  open  up.  Here  is  the  coding  I  used,

Code:
<!--  BEGIN  img  --><div  title="Click  to  Enlarge"><a  href="{URL}"  rel="lytebox"><img  src="{URL}"  border="0"  alt="Click  to  Enlarge"  style="max-width:350px;  max-height:350px"/></a></div><!--  END  img  -->

 As  you  can  see  there,  I  still  used  the  rel  and  it  works  just  fine  even  with  the  latest  lytebox  changes.  Also  in  that,  you  can  see  that  I  used  the  style  within  the  image  html  to  set  a  max  height  and  a  max  width.  Does  this  mean  it  will  stretch  the  image  to  it,  absolutely  not.  It  just  puts  a  max  limit  so  if  you  have  an  image  that  is  lets  say  600px  wide  and  only  300px  high,  it  will  automatically  resize  it  down  to  a  max  width  of  350px  keeping  the  aspect  ration  so  it  does  not  distort  the  image.  If  you're  wondering  on  which  file  that  is  found  in,  just  open  up  your  public_html/themes/Your_Theme/forums/bbcode.tpl  file  and  do  a  search  for

Code:
 <!--  BEGIN  img  -->

   and  you  will  find  what  you  need  to  alter.

 I  hope  this  is  informative  and  answers  some  of  the  questions  I  have  been  asked  many  times  on  CT  and  on  my  site.  Original  post  was  made  here:  http://www.clanthemes.com/ftopict-8839-lytebox-55-update-for-xtreme-evo.html
