Can  anyone  help  me  out  with  this  please?

So  basically  I  am  running  Windows  10  with  the  latest  Wamp  server  using  Apache/2.4.9  (Win64)  PHP/5.5.12  and  I  just  downloaded  from  the  site  Xtreme.  I  had  this  working  on  my  Windows  7  but  thats  not  what  Im  using  any  longer.  I  really  dont  think  its  Windows  10  so  I  came  here  to  see  exactly  what  I  did  wrong

NOTE:  This  is  my  local  server...I'm  sure  you  know  this  already  but  wanted  to  be  clear.

Problem  is  i'm  99%  sure,  is  going  to  be  the  fact  you  are  running  PHP  5.5.12  the  Xtreme  files  you  have
downloaded  if  you  downloaded  a  fresh  copy  and  5.4  compliant  change  your  PHP  version  to  PHP  5.4  and  I
have  a  feeling  your  site  will  be  good.

If  not  let  us  know  if  it  changes  anything  so  we  can  help  you  more  but
that  is  the  1st  thing  that  you  need  to  do.

Ok  so  I  downloaded  Wamp  Server  2.4  instead  of  2.5  which  contains

 Apache  Version  :2.4.4
 PHP  Version  :5.4.12

I  uninstalled  and  reinstalled  and  run  the  setup,  this  time  I  didnt  get  all  the  errors  when  I  run  the  install.php  but  when  I  go  to  the  admin  section  it  still  has  the  same  exact  error.

I  did  notice  under  the  Administrator  Quick  navigation  block  some  text  that  looked  strange  (_AB_NUKESENTINEL)  This  is  what  was  in  it:

It  appears  that  NukeSentinel(tm)  has  not  been  configured  correctly.  The  most  common  cause  is  that  you  either  have  an  error  in  the  syntax  that  is  including  includes/nukesentinel.php  from  your  mainfile.php,  or  you  have  not  added  the  NukeSentinel(tm)  code  to  your  mainfile.php.  Details  for  including  this  code  are  included  in  the  download  package  in  the  Edits_For_Core_Files  directory.

So  Im  basically  stuck  still  Sad

Have  you  done  the  core  edits  that  are  mentioned  in  that  file?

That  would  be  the  1st  place  to  start  but  on  a  fresh  install  there  is  no  reason  at
all  why  you  should  not  be  able  to  access  the  admin  of  your  site  if  everything  has  been  installed
 correctly.

I've  done  this  a  time  or  two  before...I've  done  everything  that's  supposed  to  be  done  (famous  last  words?).

I'm  going  to  delete  everything  again  and  try  it  again  and  see  if  its  just  something  I  overlooked  somehow.

Have  you  made  sure  that  all  the  install  files  have  the  right  permissions  certain  files  need  775  permissions  other
 need  different?

Yes  I  check  all  of  that.

I  went  ahead  and  installed  Xampp  this  time  instead  of  wamp...just  to  see  but  it  does  the  exact  same  thing.

Its  odd  because  I  can  pretty  much  browse  around  the  admin  section  but  not  the  home  admin  screen  and  I  cant  in  Themes  which  is  honestly  where  I  need  to  be.

I  don't  have  a  clue  honestly  but  I  will  figure  it  out.

Well  shortly  after  I  tried  that  I  decided  to  use  my  IP  address  instead  of  localhost  and  that  appears  to  be  the  crazy  fix.

Thansk  for  the  help.  hopefully  I  will  not  be  back  with  a  crazy  question  again.
