 I  tried  to  install  twice  now  .  .  .  .
 @  the  install  screen  it  said  everything  was  OK
 
 but  I  am  getting  this  @  top  of  site

 so  I  deleted  it  all  and  tried  again.....
 .....tried  to  switch  hosting  PHP.  but  no  change
 
 
 PHP  5.2  works  .  .  .  but  why
 I  have  it  set  ATM  just  to  work  with  the  site

 Have  you  been  into  the  
 
 Forum  admin>General  admin>Configuration
 
 and  then  set  your  timezone  to  the  correct  timezone  there  see  if  that  helps  any.

 Do  you  have  access  to  you  php.ini  file?  If  so,  look  for  this  line,  
 
 
                                                 
Code:                
date.timezone                

 
 make  sure  there  is  no  ;  in  front  of  it  and  also  make  sure  you  have  a  supported  timezone  in  it.  Here  is  a  list  of  them  for  America,  http://php.net/manual/en/timezones.america.php
 
 You  can  find  other  nations  in  there  as  well.  If  not,  you  could  contact  your  host  and  see  about  it,  if  not,  I  am  sure  putting  something  like
 
 
                                                 
PHP:                
date_default_timezone_set('America/New_York');                 
 in  the  header.php  on  your  site  will  solve  this.  Mind  you  that  I  used  New  York  for  the  example.  But  the  PHP.ini  would  be  the  optimal  way  to  fix  this.
